“In Mayapur suchten Madan Gopal und ich ebenfalls nach einer Wand. Als wir sie direkt an der Hauptstraße gefunden hatten, fragten wir aber niemanden um Erlaubnis, sondern malten einfach frech drauf los, also mehr oder weniger im klassisch-illegalen Grafitti-Stil. Nach einer Weile bemerkte ich, wie uns ein Security-Beamter im Visier hatte und plötzlich schnurstracks auf unsere Wand zu eilte. Wir dachten “Oje, jetzt gibt es aber gleich richtigen Ärger!” Doch zu unserer Überraschung wollte der Officer nur eine Kuh wegscheuchen, die sich gerade hungrig über unsere Farbeimer hermachte. Ein paar Minuten später musterte der Beamte unser Werk mit den Worten “very nice!” und wippte dabei mit dem Kopf hin und her, wie es die Inder gerne tun, wenn sie ihre Zustimmung geben.”
ENGLISH ORIGINAL VERSION: “Shree Radhe ….As I was looking for a good wall in Vrindavan, I saw this, what we call in Grafitti language “rooftop”. I thought: This is a good wall, it is a rooftop, and the best: Radha’s name will not be on the floor. So I was asking permission to paint. I found out that the the house was called “Radha Kuthi” and wonderful RadhaKrsna Deities were inside.
Before I began, they blessed me and gave me some maha-prasadam, so I thought that this was a sign that I should paint, although I was in doubt to do it at all… Thx oh Lord… Jaya Jaya Sri Radheeeee!” (Madhupati Dasa aka Prayz108)
